Tree Removal as a Last Resort by an ISA Certified Arborist
Tree removal is sometimes necessary, but it should never be the first recommendation. At Truly Arbor Care, all tree removal decisions are based on professional diagnosis, structural evaluation, and risk assessment performed by an ISA Certified Arborist.
When Tree Removal Is Necessary
Tree removal is recommended only when a tree presents an unacceptable safety risk, has advanced structural failure, or cannot recover due to severe disease or decline. These decisions are made after evaluating tree health, stability, and surrounding targets.
Tree Risk Assessment Before Removal (TRAQ)
Tree removal recommendations are informed by ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) methodology. TRAQ provides a standardized approach to evaluating failure potential, likelihood of impact, and overall risk to people and property.
Preservation Is Evaluated First
Before recommending removal, we evaluate whether pruning, plant healthcare, soil improvement, or other risk mitigation strategies can safely preserve the tree. Removal is considered only when preservation is no longer a viable option.
Removal Due to Disease or Structural Failure
Certain diseases, internal decay, or structural defects may compromise a tree beyond recovery. In these cases, removal may be necessary to reduce risk and prevent property damage or personal injury.
Professional Removal Planning and Execution
When removal is required, it is planned and executed under the direction of an ISA Certified Arborist. This ensures the work is performed safely, responsibly, and with consideration for surrounding trees and site conditions.
Risk-Based Decisions, Not Sales-Driven Recommendations
We do not recommend tree removal unless it is justified by professional evaluation. Our goal is to provide clear, science- based guidance so property owners can make informed decisions about safety and long-term landscape health.
